The A500, later renamed 40RH and 42RH (hydraulic controlled governor pressure) and 40RE, 42RE, 44RE (electronic controlled governor pressure, 1993-up).
The A518, later renamed 46RH (hydraulic controlled governor pressure) and 46RE (electronic controlled governor pressure). Starting in the early 1990s, it was used in trucks and vans.
The A618, later renamed 47RH (hydraulic controlled governor pressure) 47RE (electronically controlled governor pressure) is a heavier-duty version of the 46RE. It was used in trucks and vans starting in the mid-1990s.
The 48RE is an electronically governed, ECU controlled, four-speed heavy-duty overdrive automatic transmission, which is stronger than its predecessor, the 47-series. This was used in diesel trucks in mid-2000s.
